The shuttle from the airport, however, was sketchy (we were not greeted at the airport in the manner we were told we would be and we were seriously questioning whether the shuttle was legit the whole way there). The hotel claims to have AC, but it’s central AC. We were there in December, when the central AC is apparently turned off. Our rooms were 25C when we got there - WAY too hot! The only way to cool...

"The location of the hotel is very good. It’s a 20 minute walk to the Muslim quarter and the drum tower. We booked the luxury room and were upgraded to a suite, thank you! Bed was amazing and bathroom had luxurious Lanvin amenities. Staff were very friendly and professional specially the concierge who went above and beyond helping us retrieve something we left behind in the train from Beijing. Exceptional service. "

"The building and the room has the old english theme which is very unique. i totally understand if the hotel management want to keep to the theme but some refurbishments are needed as the room look worn out i.e bathroom tiles, the cabinets, carpets. Overall, the room was clean and bed was comfortable. "
