"The landscape was beautiful. It had a very tropical feel to it. The food was good and the rooms were big and clean. The sand on beach was great but it is all rocks getting into the water. You can walk to the pier to get into the water but I didn’t want to walk that far. That was the only thing I was disappointed with on this trip. We were there 12 days. Very nice overall!"

"You get what you pay for. My room was ok. Fridge did not work and as a pumping/ breastfeeding mom not being able to store my milk was awful. The food was awful all around. Except seafood restaurant. Found a roach in my room and it wasn’t the big humidity roaches. The guy at the pool trying to get people to sign up for massages and begging you to sign up so he could get commission was absolutely insane. This was my first and last time staying at any Iberostar resorts."

"The pool was the highlight, it was huge. The activities and workout class offerings were amazing. The spa is lively. But I was there with a large group and a number of us were either nauseous the most of the time or full on food poisoning happened. They are a plastic free hotel, which is great but maybe the filtered water isn't as filtered as it needs to be for those with sensitive stomachs or it was one of the restaurants."

"Beautifully laid out property with natural landscaping, an interesting howler monkey rehabilitation program onsite, and meandering footpaths and foot bridges connecting you to the resort areas. Food was very good and the beach was beautiful. One of the best and most pleasant resorts in Playacar. Good tip: When shopping in town, insist on using your credit card and pay in U.S. dollars. Let your bank card do the currency exchange for you. Don't fall victim to sneaky math or offerings of 'free'...
