A couple things we did not like water in jacuzzi was cold and the bucket on kids water park did not work. Other than that the facility and people are amazing. Definitely we will come back."
"The photo don’t do this properly justice. It’s huge!! Take a day to walk the property and explore the surrounding area outside the beach and pool area. I would highly recommend this hotel for couples and families. I didn’t get a chance to make a reservation for the restaurants but I was surprised at how good the buffet was and enjoyed everything they served. The food variety was great and delicious. I stayed 4 nights and it was better than expected! You won’t be disappointed!!"

"Our stay at JOIA was phenomenal. I’ll start with the food, we tried every restaurant and everything was delicious if I could recommend one memorable dish it was the guac so simple, but magical! You have to make a reservation at each restaurant but we found that even if we didn’t have a reservation the wait did not exceed 15 minutes. The beach had a little seaweed nothing crazy; however I did get stung by a jelly fish.

"Beautifully laid out property with natural landscaping, an interesting howler monkey rehabilitation program onsite, and meandering footpaths and foot bridges connecting you to the resort areas. Food was very good and the beach was beautiful. One of the best and most pleasant resorts in Playacar. Good tip: When shopping in town, insist on using your credit card and pay in U.S. dollars. Let your bank card do the currency exchange for you. Don't fall victim to sneaky math or offerings of 'free'...
