Walking towards the falls I didn’t feel I would get a great photo due to the clear blue skies providing a lot of hot spots in the scene, but I was delighted to find the waterfall in full shade except for some sunbeams!! Beautiful walk topped off with a stunning waterfall.

Triplet falls was the site of one of the timber mills in the Otways - which means you can see a lot of relics from last century. The lines you see are the grooves timber workers have cut in the tree. Here, they would have put wooden planks in the grooves to help them climb up the tree. There are lots of information boards here to explain the history. #lovemytown
Great walk to view Triplet Falls. Easy one hour round trip to view some spectacular waterfalls.

Spend a little quiet time in the Otway Ranges of Sth Western Victoria at these delightful falls. They appear out of the bush after a short walk down into the gully in the Aire Valley near Beech Forest. The Aire Valley is a mixture of native old growth forest and plantation timber for the nearby sawmills.
