"Lovely old coaching inn and nice rooms too. It was lovely sat out in the forecourt having a drink undercover. My evening meal in pub was very nice , bit expensive and limited menu but tasted great. Breakfast was lovely and the Manager who was very friendly and I believe from Australia -and her assistant -were very helpful even allowing me to have it early as I had a show to get too. This was above and beyond and means I will definitely come back, Thank you"

"Great hotel, was under renovation, but our room was excellent. The only downside was the younger adults who decided to have a party in the car park outside until 3 am in the morning! But the staff did their very best to move them on. It is a public car park for the bowling across the road. Generally, the restaurant in the hotel is better than that across the road. Quieter, and the food was very good. The pool was great for the children."

"Clean room, but wonder how warm it will be in Winter as only single glazing. Staff very good. Breakfast was good, but standard coffee served was only just passable. I think you could pay extra and get a ‘proper’ coffee though!"
