"We had a difficult time getting checked in, as there was no one there when we arrived and my US phone had a hard time connecting to the posted UK number. But the owner arrived soon and everything was great! The restaurant is very unique with lots of antiques, and the food was fabulous! Breakfast was made to order and fabulous!! I highly recommend!"

"We booked a double room but were not told it was a disability access room. We were right next to the entry access door which banged open shut all night with other guests so hardly slept. Also the sink was small & far too low to use easily. The room decor & furniture was very low quality for such a beautiful building & the complementary tea etc & shampoo was very basic. This was not a cheap hotel & we were hoping for a beautiful room like the pictures but instead were left very disappointed."

The whole house is like a beautiful museum. So many quirky bits and Bob's. The room a spacious amazingly quiet at night for a great night's sleep in such a comfortable bed. If we're ever in Lincoln, this is the place to go again. Many thanks"
