"Alison and Adrian are lovely hosts. The room was everything we needed. Would visit again"

"Excellent location, close to many great areas and beaches Very comfortable accommodation, friendly owners and wonderful breakfast options"

"We *loved* its location -- right on The Quay, its historic importance, and the comradery of the staff and guests in its downstairs pub over the water. Also, no other Americans."

"Misleading information when booking stated that there was parking. There wasn’t parking at the hotel but on a nearby car park for £56 for the week !"

"Welcome was great with a cup of tea. Very friendly. Beautiful quiet, rural farm setting. Pet friendly. Totally suited our needs with easy access to Barnstaple, Instow, RHS Rosemoor."

"Very friendly. I was assisted up the stairs with a suitcase. One problem was that I couldn't drop the suitcase at the front door of the hotel as there was no entry signs at each end of the road so I had to trundle my case from the car park. I may have booked a nearer car park had I known."

"Wonderful stay, room was very comfortable breakfast wasvery nice with locally sourced ingredients convenient for a walk round harbour and local eateries . Over all would recommend and would book again"
