"This was our second stay here. And, this trip did not disappoint. Very quiet. Breakfast was amazing! Please be sure the give the lady attending the Breakfast some praise!! She had everything well stocked & was avaliable if you needed anything. We had an incident in the middle of the night& the front desk attendant was more than helpful with any extra supplies we needed. You will see us again for sure! "

"Our experience at Microtel was top-notch! The staff are always friendly and helpful. Rachel was super busy this morning serving breakfast, but didn’t blink an eye when we asked her for something. And, the breakfast was delicious. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Our family will continue to come back because guests here are treated with the best hospitality ever! "

"Clean, hospitable safe... pool was very nice and clean and open when it was stated it should have been. Staff was very friendly and helpful especially Jason who was running the breakfast, he was polite and helpful and approachable"

"We were initially put in a room that was dusty and had a (small) mouse. But after a sleepless night we were moved to the Pinnacles building which was amazing! Staff was very responsive to our needs and did everything they could once we alerted them to the problem. One thing to note is the we were there during a heat wave and not all rooms are air conditioned- we had no idea. So if that is important to you, you may want to reach out and inquire about this prior to booking. Food at the restaurant and drinks at the tap house were great."

"We are from right outside of DC so this was a few day getaway for us. It was just what we had been looking for and just as you would think. It is rustic on a large piece of land with a working farm, etc.. But at the same time there is a very nice, large, outdoor pool, picnic tables, outdoor games, trails for walking and nearby hiking. The farmhouse restaurant was nice dinner for us. We enjoyed the views and the local wine. One night we went to the DeCard Vineyard just down the road on one of the farm's former apple orchards - and that was just lovely. On our way back at just dusk, we had a show put on for us by all the local deer in the meadows. We stayed in the Itty Bitty room in the lodge - yes, it is rustic as it should be, a little musty and nothing fancy. But on the plus side, the AC in the room cranked and worked very well, the hot water worked well, and the TV worked well with a ton of stations available. There is a little deli / store just down the road from the property where we had awesome sandwiches, shakes, and any supplies we needed. Check the hours as it closes on the early side so you'll want to bring your own water, etc.. if you are arriving too late to stop by. We will go back for sure. If you are looking to get away, relax, get close to nature and enjoy the mountains and nearby trails, you will love this place. "

"Good solid hotel room for those planning a kayak weekend trip with Shenandoah River Outfitters. Showers had good pressure, which helps after a long day on the river. Internet was solid. For us, the AC wasn't working, but we decided to endure it as we didn't want to repack everything after we had set up already in the room. Beds were comfortable, too. Solid place to put your head down."
