"We had a ground floor room which was close to kitchen and breakfast room which was noisy for the golfers who had requested earlier breakfast times. Staff convivial and friendly. Breakfast good and plenty of it - Lincolnshire sausage excellent. Beware carparking access a little tricky to negotiate. Easy access to local shops and golf course! "

"Overall the hotel and staff were very nice and polite. The only problem we had was at the breakfast on the second morning Soft poached eggs were ordered but after waiting for 15 minutes and reminding staff, they came out like bullets! The rest of the food was quite cold as well "

"Friendly helpful staff, a lovely comfortable place.Our room was a good size with a large modern ensuite. Nice toiletries etc. The breakfast buffet provided a wide choice plus a variety of hot dishes to order."

"No parking . Their own parking across the road was £10 per night. The breakfast let our stay down. The staff repeatedly got the orders wrong and the cooked breakfast was very poor quality. I don’t recommend the vegetarian breakfast. The lamps on the tables need removing as they are at eye level and you can’t see each other! "

"Room was a good size. Just disappointed that despite a booking for 2 adults, 2 children. Only 1 set of towels provided and coffee/cups for 2. Requested more towels and was meant to have enough per person but only 2 more brought. Kids had to share. Heating is also an issue as visiting family so only came back to room at 9.30pm. Couldn’t leave heating on so was very cold with the wind arriving back and having to insert key card to make heating work. A rubbish system. Glad it wasn’t any colder. Place wa fine but sadly these bits made it not so comfy. "

"Breakfast was nice but could have been kept warmer as a little on the cool side . Cannot fault the staff all were excellent and helpful. The only surprise we had when arriving was that it cost £10 a day to park the car on their car park ."
