"Only saw reception staff to check in which was quite late after a wedding. Castle grounds are superb but parking is tricky. We stayed outside in the coach block only one space left well away from our room. The room is very small but clean and served its purpose for a night stay. Obviously very old,the stairs were very steep to the second floor which I didn’t realise I thought it was all ground floor level, which was tricky with mobility issues. Nice to have a later checkout of 11am though."
