"The accommodation, though clean, is very tired. The leatherette headboard was worn and needed replacing. The television reception was poor with no signal at times. The bathroom suite was old with mildew around the bath. The restaurant and bar were comfortable and traditional. The staff were friendly and helpful and there was no problem changing the chicken curry brought to the table for the vegetarian one I actually ordered! The new menu is not an improvement and we wouldn't eat in again. I...

"We were in the rooms outside of the main building, they were dish"

"All wonderful, the staff are so lovely, friendly yet professional. My room was beautifully refurbished and a very pleasant stay."

"Staff very friendly and helpful, and bar and restaurant area pleasant, cozy and welcoming. The rooms are pretty basic and could do with some minor maintenance, but are clean and tidy, and good value for money. A good choice of breakfast items, and we had two evening meals which were great. Our waiter Sam was especially friendly and helpful. There is plenty of free parking"

"This was the ideal stopover, we found the reception, public areas and our room clean and well cared for. All the staff we met, from the moment we arrived till the moment we left friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast and found the choice, presentation and taste really good."

"The staff at check in were lovely. The room was spacious and nicely decorated. Bed was comfortable. Unfortunately I did not sleep very well as the pipes were so loud. We were on the ground floor...when anyone on the floors above used their bathroom, then all the pipes made loud noises and would wake me up. If this could be fixed, then this place would be perfect."

"Rooms are very comfortable and clean some areas could with a bit of a paint. But rooms are quiet and comfortable."
