"Lovely breakfast. Very clean room. Hosts were personable and professional."

"We loved the view of the lake from room 9 and the breakfast was excellent! The grounds are beautiful."

"This was the best B&B by far I have ever stayed in. The room was spotless and a very comfy bed. The full Cumbrian breakfast was delicious and plenty of it, There was also a good alternative menu aswell. But if you decide to have an evening meal you are in for a real treat. Darryl is a trained Chef and the meals he serves are amazing."

"Absolutely lovely place to stay, the hosts were amazing and so helpful. The views from the rooms were beautiful, definitely would recommend and would visit again."

"A warm welcome as we arrived from Pete and Katie. Pre arrival we were given information on local eateries and advice re booking. Extras like milk in a communal fridge in the lounge were appreciated. Daily top ups of water and biscuits in our room. Bins emptied daily and room tidied. Excellent breakfast choices and beautifully presented. We had a very comfortable stay and would highly recommend."

"Updated, super clean and well done. It was a bit off the path for the Coast2Coast and the owner gave up explicit hiking directions including 2 pages of photos to get us back on it by hiking trails."
