"Staff and room were great. My only concern is the difficulty opening the door from the stairwell to the second floor. The door dragged on the carpet and was extremely hard to push/pull open. In an emergency this could be disastrous. I don’t know about the other doors, but I expect the same problem exists."

"Unexpected fees. Crappy rooms and the breakfast was TERRIBLE. And expensive too, so don’t waste your time. Thought I was booking something nice ESPECIALLY with the price. Nope. Was there for a death in the family and they couldn’t have made the experience worse especially for the price. Stay away."

"Nice little Hotel. I normally stay IHG, but the Holiday Inn in Clinton does not allow pets. Booked here, not knowing what I was gonna find, but I was pleasantly surprised!!! I was able to get a room that had a whole separate bedroom from the living area, which is a must when you have a dog, that will bark at the wind. Keeps them away from the front entry and all the noises. TVs could use an upgrade, but the internet was good...if you are a gamer. Would stay here again with no hesitation!!! Oh...

"Drive by this motel, don’t even look at it. Even though the room is “cleanish” I don’t think floor in our room was wet mopped. The bottom of my feet were dirty after walking around in the room for a couple of hours. The place is old, the walls are thin so noisy neighbors are irritating. The complementary breakfast was,meh."

"Room clean, everything worked, bed comfortable, easy to get in and out. Staff nice enough, quiet."

"There was mold, rust, nothing was clean at all. Sheets had stains. The sink moved and was dirty. We requested to move due to these issues and were accomodated but found the same maybe slightly cleaner. This made me question why we got a dirtier one first. Seems the owning family lives and works there so I'm sure the only decent rooms are theirs. Breakfast was not worth even offering and not refilled so if you dont come right away you will not get what little they do offer. Waffle maker broken....

"We chose this place as a last minute one night stay. That being the case it was OK. It had almost equal points on the OK and Good side. On the good side, our room looked to be recently renovated. The paint, fixtures, bed, etc all seemed to have been done recently. There were however a few things that were missing, There was an ironing board but no iron, no hair dryer though it was mentioned as an amenity, and a light bulb was missing from the vanity light fixture. Check in was disappointing. We...
