High Borrans Grove is a 1 bedroom, centrally heated, self catering holiday lodge offering a charming and welcoming retreat. Sitting at the highest point in High Borrans Lodge Park, Grove lodge boasts a wide view and wraparound decking area. The contemporary open plan kitchen and living room face out through French doors towards the fields, capturing sunlight throughout the day, creating a light, bright and cosy space perfect for enjoying the rural scenery. Sleeping two adults, just two miles from Windermere, Grove is the perfect place for a romantic retreat in the Lake District.

Grove lodge is unable to accommodate dogs.

THINGS TO NOTE....
Strictly no children or infants are permitted at High Borrans.
High Borrans is a working farm so dogs must be kept under strict control at all times.
Secure wifi is available in the lodge
Mobile phone signal is very patchy in the surrounding area.
There is a free to use onsite laundry room in the small stone building at the entrance to the lodge park. This includes 2 washing machines, tumble dyer, iron and ironing board. There is also additional shared freezer storage space (plus some spare dog towels in case of need).
Arrival is from 4pm. Departure by 10am.

We had an amazing few days here, very peaceful, amazing views and walks around the area. Perfect for couples looking for time away. We couldn’t fault it. The lodges had everything you need. Not far from lake Windermere either by car or bike. We can’t wait to come back. 100% recommend staying here.

This was our third stay at High Borrans and again it didn't disappoint. The lodge was clean, tidy and fully equipped. High Borrans is a very quiet and tranquil place. The location makes it easy to get to places either by car or if you prefer there are paths and walking trails on the doorstep.

The lodge was of a very high standard and was very well equipped and very clean.The service and hospitality was of a very high standard it was very quite and very good for wildlife.and good views around, it also has many walks that you can do.The only thing from our point of view was a little remote for us.but apart from that could not fault it.

Really lovely modern lodges. So peaceful. Lodges well stocked with everything you could need. Only slight negative for us was the bed. Didnt find it the compfiest but beds are very personal.

Staying at the ‘Grove’ lodge was like a home from home, very clean and tidy, all the kitchen utensils you’d need to cook and prepare food. Cathy came to say hi to us when we settled in and she was very friendly and welcoming asking if we needed anything and informed us of an extended check out time as no one was in the following day! Loved our stay here and the location is 10 mins from Windermere, just a short drive, rained quite a bit when we stayed so couldn’t take advantage of the location for walking but can wait to return again!
