Pleasant weekend away

Really well presented B&B, clean & tidy. The hosts are friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Very close to centre of Windermere, only 5 minutes walk to the shops. Lake is about 20-30 minutes walk from the door.

Best B&B

We really enjoyed our stay. First of all we arrived late. Liz and Graham were there to greet us with a cup of tea! They are brilliant hosts. They gave us great recommendations of where to walk to and visit and also wonderful restaurants. We will definitely stay there again when we're in the Lake District. Amazing

We were so impressed by the kindness and warm welcome of our hosts. You cannot find a better place to stay. Very clean, location in the center, excellent breakfast, beautiful room. We will certainly go back. Private parking in front of the door entrance! Amazing is not enough.

we had an absolutely brilliant stay at brook house. it has a great location, close to shops and Windermere lake, easy to park, Liz and Graham were excellent hosts! had a few lovely chats with them over breakfast (which was DELICIOUS by the way) and they were incredibly accomodating with my partner and I being vegan. I even got some little chocolates and balloons in my room for my birthday! the room we stayed in was lovely and cozy, comfortable bed, super clean, and had everything you would need for tea and coffees (and a TV we plugged our Amazon firestick into for Disney! perfect!) we booked to come back in October before we had even left to come home!

Brook House B&B

Liz and Graham are wonderful hosts, everyone is made to feel welcome. Breakfasts are amazing with an incredible choice of food. Bedroom number 2, although small, is very comfortable with an en suite shower and WC. Cleanliness is a feature of the accommodation, towels and bed linen were fresh and clean. Off road parking is a tremendous asset, enabling easy transfer of luggage. This accommodation is highly recommended.

Lovely guest house. Really clean, warm and welcoming. Breakfast was really great too. Walking distance from Windermere bars and restaurants, and only a short taxi from Boness pubs and restaurants. Lots of nice walks nearby as well.

A friendly welcome and a relaxing place to stay.

Welcomed as soon as we arrived with a nice tea and coffee. The owners were very friendly and gave us some great advice on places to visit. Lots of maps, tourist literature for guests to use during the stay too. Definitely venture up to Orrest Head for a lovely view of Windermere. The room was comfortable and stocked daily with tea, coffee and biscuits. The cooked breakfast was delicious and catered to meet the needs of the whole family. The house is also located in a nice area, a short walking distance to the centre and with off street parking.
