"We stayed for one night on our way back to Devon from Kent and we had a truly lovely time. Our room was large and sunny and had everything we could want. There was a lovely beer garden where we had a drink enjoying the afternoon sun and a really lovely dinner and super cooked to order breakfast. Staff were really friendly. A really great place to stay."

"The venue was nice but felt a little tired. The window in the room we had did not shut properly as it was broken. The table in the room was sticky and dusty. The lift had a very poor paint job. "Booked to be as close to the train station as possible and it is actually the nearest, just across the road from the station and nearest to the cruise terminal as well (app 25 minute walk or a taxi app £10) - I was meeting my daughter for her birthday, she works on the ships, so it was an ideal spot. Walking distance to the centre of Southampton too. Staff were really nice, loved having the pool, sauna and gym included. All in all great value."
