"Thank you for a wonderful stay! I was traveling to Berlin as a solo female from Canada. I planned to spend most of the daytime hours out and about in the city, but I wasn't looking to go out and party. It was important to me to have a hotel with great rooms & nice amenities so that I could actually enjoy some time there, not just a place to rest my head. Sana delivered on everything I was hoping for. My room was FANTASTIC. Really nice details, like a GOOD coffee maker, a ton of storage, a huge bathtub etc. I loved the personalized note and desserts that were waiting for me upon my arrival. The little things the signify above and beyond hospitality. I enjoyed the spa area at the end of each day. Yes the pool is small as mentioned by other reviewers. But it's a spa pool, not a pool for swimming laps. It was super relaxing to alternate between the sauna and the pool. The bar and restaurant were nice as well. I ate there a few times and enjoyed everything I had. The breakfast buffet had a lot of options. Staff were friendly and very helpful. I had one small issue with my safe, which was fixed within minutes I thought it might be far away from most main attractions but that was not a problem at all. Berlin is so easy to get around. In fact, the first stop for the Hop On Hop Off tour I did was a 10 min walk from the hotel, so that was perfect. This was my first solo Euro trip and something I will remember forever. "The Scandic was a great choice. The hotel is in a great location close to everything and easily accessible from the U2 metro. Having arrived early, the hotel held our bags whilst we went out, on return check in was easy and the staff pleasant. The room was very clean and had tea/coffee facilities and complementary water. There a a number of café, bars and restaurants close by. Overall, very happy with the hotel and location and would definitely stay again on a return to Berlin."

"Big hotel but everything works well. Good size rooms, excellent breakfast. Close to U Bahn so easy access to central Berlin. Plenty of parking too and Table Tennis like you've never seen before."
