"The Scandic was a great choice. The hotel is in a great location close to everything and easily accessible from the U2 metro. Having arrived early, the hotel held our bags whilst we went out, on return check in was easy and the staff pleasant. The room was very clean and had tea/coffee facilities and complementary water. There a a number of café, bars and restaurants close by. Overall, very happy with the hotel and location and would definitely stay again on a return to Berlin."

After having some dismal results due to email malfunctions and getting entry codes it was a pleasure to be greeted by a real person that provides guests with key card. The dining was excellent - the hotel has a Georgian restaurant that provides guests with a taste of Caucasian cuisine. The hotel is one block from the Wittenbergplatz U-Bahn station and walking distance to the Zoologischer Garten station for connections to the S-Bahn lines that make Berlin accessible without a car.
