This is definitely an amazing place to stay up in Williamsburg. The place was spotless, very nice, and large. The location is perfect. Just out of the way enough that it's private but still close to the attractions. We know where we'll be looking to stay again if we go back to Williamsburg!
Excellent location in quiet area with privacy. The house was exactly as described. The host was very responsive to a question we had. The furniture and beds were extremely comfortable. I highly recommend this place and we will be back for a future stay.
This will be our new “home base” for all our future Williamsburg trips! Meticulously clean, comfortable, quiet, and conveniently located. All major area attractions are within a 5-10 minute drive. Highly recommended.
This was one of the cleanest and most well appointed homes we have ever stayed in. Communication with the owner was efficient and quick, as was the check in process. We will definitely be staying here again if ever in the area. Thanks for such a lovely stay!
Perfect for a family member’s birthday. The back yard is lovely. Had many deer come visit. Even with no leaves on the trees couldn’t make out the road way behind. Peaceful and quiet with so many great restaurants nearby ( and the regular Williamsburg attractions too, but not what we were there for.) Grocery store just a minute up the road, we enjoyed cooking for everyone in the kitchen. The house is well laid out for a small gathering.
Had a great stay at the house. Was close to Williamsburg, Busch gardens, Jamestown and not too far from Virginia Beach. We came out the front door one day and had 5 deer in the front yard.
This property is spotless and conveniently located. Very close to downtown Williamsburg and practically steps to Colonial Parkway! Very safe and quiet neighborhood. The pool table was great entertainment for my family. The dining table was perfect for game night as well! Only thing missing was hand soap for the bathroom and kitchen but no big deal!
Golf trip with the dogs. Quiet, comfortable and great value. Cant say enough about the clear and timely communication with the property host. Will definitely come back next year. This VRBO wont disappoint. Thank you for an amazing stay.
The picture of this place does not do it justice. It is so clean inside and spacious for everyone to move around and be really comfortable. Easy to get to restaurants and shopping just six minutes away. Water park and Busch gardens very close as well. The staff response time is really great we appreciate all the help. My kids and family really loved it. If we come back to VA we will definitely be back.
We were very pleased with the accomodations and the condition of the house/property. Excellent amenities and location to surrounding areas. We plan to reserve the house again for a future visit. I know there was an old review online indicating issues, but we had no problems whatsoever. I would encourage anyone to stay at this rental. Class act!
This house is perfect for the family looking for a safe, spacious, roomy home that is close to all the vacation attractions that Williamsburg provides. It is super clean, has modern amenities, and plenty of space for your family to spread out and relax. It is literally turn-key. The towels are plush, linens are regal, the kitchen has every utensil/appliance you could need, the showers in the bathrooms provide a truly relaxing spa experience, the three large screen televisions were equipped with apps that addressed the wide range of interest levels of our group from ages 10-80! We began each morning on the secluded back porch drinking our coffee and watching the hummingbirds and butterflies--so peaceful! The neighborhood is so quiet and relaxing, yet you are only minutes from grocery stores, restaurants, and vacation attractions! The pool table provided HOURS of fun in the evenings when we returned from our daily excursions. The host was readily accessible and returned messages within minutes. We truly enjoyed this home and were SO thrilled to have a welcoming experience that even included our furry family member. This is indeed, a true gem and we would give it more than five stars if that were possible.
This vacation rental was a wonderful house for spending my family’s summer vacation. This house is perfectly centrally located to reach everything you could want or need such as groceries, restaurants , gift shops, sightseeing, Williamsburg, Jamestown, Yorktown, Busch Gardens, and only an hour from Virginia Beach! This home is in a beautiful, safe, quiet and friendly neighborhood. We felt we were tucked away in a peaceful woodsy atmosphere, yet it was only about a 10-15-minute drive to the marketplace in Williamsburg! An airy deck on the back was perfect for morning coffee and evening cocktails while watching the squirrels, rabbits, and even deer roaming in the wide but secluded back yard. The house was large, clean, and perfectly suited for my family’s one week vacation in June. The primary bathroom shower felt like a spa with separate dual rain-like shower heads. A modern Keurig machine with a variety of coffee choices awaited our mornings. The pristine pool table added a fantastic touch for entertainment on a couple of evenings as well! The hosts quickly responded to any messages or questions I asked on VRBO, and they clearly prioritize wanting their guests to be happy and enjoy their time. I highly recommend!!
Where to begin. First of all the host was very nice to allow us to stay in their home due to an emergency in ours and we had no place to go with such short notice. So very thankful for that. The home was absolutely beautiful. Very clean and well maintained. The view was beautiful. Was definitely a very quiet neighborhood. Had every thing you could possibly need. Had an awesome pool table as well. Will definitely recommend this home and this host. Hope to stay there again sometime. main taoned.
This lovely home is in a quiet neighborhood and situated well between all the main area attractions. We visited Colonial Williamsburg, Busch Gardens, Jamestown, and Yorktown. All were simple to get to from the home. There is also a grocery and a lovely coffee shop, The 1607 Coffee Shop, both within a 5 minute drive.
The beds were comfortable, and the home was actually more spacious than the pictures made it appear. It also has a workspace with a lovely view of the wooded backyard. We even heard an owl early one morning!
The home is using glass plugins due to a musty smell, in case you are sensitive to that.

This was a terrific house. Extremely clean, laid out well, easy to find driving in. Parking no problem as it has a large driveway and it was located in a quiet neighborhood. It is just minutes away from Williamsburg downtown so it is super convenient to come back to if you are out in the town. Everything in the house is Jody. Kitchen is clean and large.
Thanks to the owner for having this available and we will be back.
This was an amazing place to stay with lots of extras: pillows, towels, blankets, etc. Great location near downtown Williamsburg and Busch Gardens. Full washer and dryer, kitchen, and pool table. Extremely clean! We didn’t want to leave!
Very clean home in a nicely wooded neighborhood close to all things Williamsburg. My family of 4 enjoyed our stay including the pool table, nice bedrooms and bathrooms, and large couch in the living room. The house is within 10 minutes of both amusement parks and pretty much every Williamsburg attraction. We enjoyed our stay very much.
On arrival at the property it was obvious that the exterior and gardens were not well cared for at all. Dirty windows, weeds and many spider webs and cobwebs.
The interior was extremely well equipped and very spacious, however on further inspection we could see that the house was pretty grubby, especially the kitchen where cupboards and drawers had to be cleaned before use. The dining room chairs were extremely badly stained and grubby.
We actually vacuumed The lounge, dining room, kitchen, hallway and cleaned the kitchen floor the first day we were there.
This house could be an amazing property to stay in if the owner ensured that the exterior and interior of the property was cleaned properly and thoroughly before guests arrive. Some of the windows at the back of the house actually looked like eggs had been thrown at them! The outdoor grill was also in need of a good clean.
It makes me sad to write this review because Williamsburg is lovely and so is the area where the house is situated, we all agreed not to let the the disappointment of how poorly looked after the house was affect our long awaited family vacation and we did manage to do this for most of our stay ☹️
Once again, this house could be amazing but not in its current state.
Great house and we enjoyed our stay. Located in the heart of all things historic Williamburg.
Love the pool table! Comfy, spotless and loaded with so many little extras to make it feel like home. Blankets by the fireplace, extra tooth brushes, a welcome bottle of wine just to name a few. Thank you for a fantastic VRBO experience!
Some positives:
Loved that everything appeared new and clean. Not a lot of junk or clutter in the home. Beds/pillows were clean and comfortable. Liked the use of labels on lights, cabinet items etc. Was pleased to see shampoos, toothbrushes etc as extras. Liked the reference book and sightseeing ideas in the kitchen. My 14 yo enjoyed the pool table which was a nice extra. Our sighting of a big buck in the backyard upon our arrival was also cool since it reminded me of home! Nick returned a phone call immediately after I sent an email with a question after we checked in.
The only drawbacks I found was the lack of a TV in the bunkbed bedroom where kids might sleep, a luggage stand in each bedroom would have been nice since we all had a suitcase. Not a fan of plastic serving utensils either but that’s just me. Would have preferred not being asked to strip the beds, take out garbage , run laundry/dishwasher before leaving since we judged wanted to get up and get on the road.. My 78 year old mom found that excessive and I haven’t had to do at other rentals but really was just a minor issue.
In all the house was beautiful and a great place to stay. If the need arises again I would definitely try to rent there. Thank you Nick and Lisa.
