Welcome to the Conch House! Our home is set in four acres of natural tropical vegetation and overlooks its own private beach and the exquisite turquoise Exumas ocean.

Located far from the maddening crowd on Little Exuma, we are very proud to introduce you to our home. The Conch House is a newly renovated and extended 4 bedroom, 4.5 bathroom house with large entertaining areas and a private pool.

When designing the house, the emphasis has been on capturing the views that we are blessed with, whilst creating areas that maximise light and flow. The spacious indoor entertaining space has high vaulted ceilings with fans and central air-conditioning and looks out onto stunning ocean views.

At one end you will find the open plan kitchen which allows the cooks to be included in the action and to enjoy those views! This is an in/out house, so the large double patio doors can be opened up straight onto the terrace where all the outdoor entertaining can take place next to the pool. There is a covered terrace for those shaded outdoor BBQ lunches and plenty of decking for sunbathing and relaxing. On the ground floor there is also a quiet study.

All four bedrooms enjoy ocean views, along with either direct access onto the pool terrace or onto the upstairs balcony with its 180 degree views. To ensure your stay is harmonious and happy, every comfort has been thought through, from built-in wardrobes, to walk-in showers, power point locations, fans/a/c and furnishings.

The soft furnishings and furniture have been sourced worldwide and have been selected to create a stylish and relaxed contemporary feel. The master Ocean bedroom located upstairs has a kingsize bed, with ensuite bathroom offering a walk-in shower and separate bath. Also located upstairs is the Coral bedroom which can be either two twins or a king bed. Downstairs is the Palm bedroom, which can be either two twins or a king bed and finally there is a queen-sized bed in the Sun bedroom. All four bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms.

The kitchen is fully equipped with brand new appliances and is supplied with everything you need to entertain, be it a dinner party or a picnic lunch. There is a smart TV in the living room with Netflix and a laptop to play the large collection of DVDs provided. A selection of books and games is also available for those fun family evenings.

If you can tear yourself away from the view and lounging by the pool, then explore the garden and area beyond including a coconut walk. Take the steps down from the pool terrace through the garden with coconut trees and lush vegetation to the beach. Walk along the white sand beach and if you're feeling adventurous, venture off across the rocks to the bays beyond. If water sports are more your thing, jump into one of the two kayaks or onto a paddle board (we have two for your use), and explore the surrounding beaches and coves. Borrow some snorkelling kit and find pretty fish and live corals off the old dock or further down towards the rocks. At the back of the house we have a mangrove lake which is home to a wide variety of native and visiting birds. The house binoculars will help you distinguish the many types.

Although the Conch House has everything you need for a totally chilled and peaceful holiday, don't miss the opportunity to get out and explore the other attractions on your doorstep. For example, Tropic of Cancer beach is about an 8 minute drive away and a meal in Williams Town at Tropic Breeze or Santanas is a must, as are the Conch fritters at the Arawak Club, definitely the best in Exuma!

Should you feel the need for some extra pampering, a private chef can be arranged or you can treat yourself to a pool side massage or yoga session.

The Conch House is located at the end of a sand track on Little Exuma opposite Tropic of Cancer Beach. So, if privacy is what you're seeking, this this is the house for you. We have no immediate neighbours so you won't be pestered by other peoples' noise. In fact, you may not see a soul unless you venture out; it is truly an escape from the stresses and strains of modern life.
