"Quirky place, very old and it felt like it but for what i needed it was fine. Wifi was pretty bad."

"I called a few days ahead of our stay to let them Know that my daughter was celebrating her 16th birthday on that day and if they could do anything special for this. They said they couldn’t as they only provide champagne for adults and they are very busy so won’t have time. I suggested maybe a small card and a few chocolates just as a welcome gesture. He sighed and seemed annoyed I had pushed the point. When we arrived I noticed the carpets in bedrooms were very obviously stained and worn out....

"We felt very welcome from arrival till departure. Good location, cheap parking nearby, decent breakfast to start your day. Keep in mind that the rooms are not air contained and not all windows can be opened. Ask for a fan of necessary."

"All of the 3 rooms we booked had excellent facilities, everything we needed was there and more than we expected - from an extensive range of teas and other hot drink options to snacks and wine glasses. The garden is fabulous and the views across the open countryside are extensive. The owners were very friendly and helpful and we all slept very well in the extremely comfortable beds."
