We were charmed by the Ley family as perfect hosts bringing us homemade breads and suggestions for excursions. The place was immaculate with well equipped kitchen and well designed large bathroom. Really appreciated to small water closet by the bedrooms. Located in a small village just 10 minutes away from Colmar. Central location makes it easy to drive to all the pretty towns in central Alsace. Thanks Vincent.

We wanted a quiet 3 month getaway in a small, rural French village close to a larger town and needed 2 bedrooms so friends/family could stay for short periods. We saw reviews saying "Le Sesame" was exactly like the pictures (and it was). On arrival, our hosts greeted us with wine and bread which we promptly sat down and enjoyed with them. The accommodation was exactly what we'd wanted. We quickly realised how close things were, including beautiful Colmar and the amazing vineyard covered, gingerbread house villages dotted around it. We bought 2nd hand bikes (our primary means of transport) and enjoyed riding along the canals so close to us. We also took the local bus often. It's not a frequent service but it terminates at Colmar train station, is inexpensive, and so convenient given your bus stop is <100m from your front door. From Colmar train station, we travelled to other French cities (Strasbourg is a must), Germany and Switzerland. Host Vincent bakes and sells bread onsite Wednesdays and Fridays (oh, that wonderful smell). We had some very minor issues while living there but Vincent responded very quickly to those, so we were never inconvenienced. We want to thank our hosts for being so welcoming, helpful and friendly towards us during the 3 months we lived there. We can highly recommend "Le Sesame" and the Alsace region to those seeking respite from the more touristy French areas.

Wir haben jeden Tag genossen. Die Wohnung ist wirklich mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Ruhig gelegen, Sehenswürdigkeiten liegen in unmittelbarer Umgebung.

Le gite est très propre, fonctionnel, bien équipé, décoré avec gout, les pièces sont agréables à vivre et la literie est confortable. Ce gite se trouve dans un quartier très calme, un parking est à disposition ainsi qu'une jolie terrasse .Idéalement situé pour visiter l'Alsace et ses villages . Vincent nous a chaleureusement accueillis. Nous recommandons. l'accmerci pour tout!

Ein perfekt eingerichtetes Ferienhaus, in dem nichts fehlt. Die Ausstattung entspricht höchstem Niveau; die Möbel sind geschmacklich gut aufeinander abgestimmt. Der Gastgeber ist sehr sympathisch, jederzeit erreichbar und zu jeder Hilfe bereit. Die Lage des Hauses ist ruhig; Colmar mit seiner Kultur und seinen Sehenswürdigkeiten ist nur ca. 8 km entfernt. Darüber hinaus lassen sich bekannte Weinorte wie Riquewihr, Eguisheim oder Ribeauvillé in kurzer Zeit erreichen. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und können das Ferienhaus sehr empfehlen.

Wir hatten einen sehr erholsamen Urlaub, bei dem es nichts zu bemängeln gibt. Der Gastgeber Herr Ley war sehr nett und zuvorkommend, jederzeit erreichbar und hilfsbereit. Wir wurden mit einem Gugelhupf und 1 Fl. Cremant begrüßt. Die Ferienwohnung war in einem hervorragenden Zustand, liebevoll und geschmackvoll eingerichtet und es fehlte an nichts. Wirklich sehr zu empfehlen. In der Nähe sind beste Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Colmar, eine wunderschöne Stadt ist nur einen Katzensprung entfernt. Beim Gastgeber kann man 2x wöchtlich sein selbstgebackenes Brot/ Kuchen auf dem Hof erwerben. Alles in allem ein super schöner Aufenthalt. Vielen Dank.

Sehr schöne Wohnung, alles vorhanden und sehr bequeme Betten. Der Vermieter war sehr zuvorkommend und immer ansprechbar. Schön war , das ein Gugelhupf zur Begrüßung dort stand und leckeres selbst gebackenes Brot haben wir auch noch bekommen. Rundum waren wir sehr zufrieden.

Wir Vier (2 Erw./2 Jugendliche) haben uns in der toll eingerichteten Ferienwohnung - in der nichts fehlte - zwei Wochen lang sehr wohl gefühlt. Alleine die Begrüßung mit Brioche, Baguette und Cremant d`Àlsace :-) ...da fühlten wir uns gleich im Elsass angekommen. Hr. Ley backt seit Jahrzehnten selber Backwaren, die wir fleißig verköstigten. Sogar am Abfahrtstag früh um 6:00 Uhr gab es frische Brezeln - und wie das duftete! In der Nähe der Wohnung liegt eine Kirche, die zwar Tag und Nacht schlägt, uns jedoch nicht sehr störte. Die Wohnung liegt ansonsten sehr ruhig und hat in allen Zimmern sehr viel Stauraum, selbst im Badezimmer. Die Nähe zu Colmar und den kleinen sehenswerten elsäßischen Dörfern genossen wir sehr. Auch Deutschland (Breisach) ist schnell zu erreichen. Dank der guten Deutschkenntnisse von Hr. Ley war eine Verständigung einfach.

Wir (4 Erwachsene) haben diese sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtete und optimal funktionale Unterkunft sehr genossen. Da wir es benötigten können wir bestätigen, dass die Unterkunft ebenerdig ist und auch behindertenfreundlich. Es war alles vorhanden was das Leben angenehm macht und insbesondere die Küche war ausgesprochen angenehm zu bedienen. Der grosse Aufenthaltsraum und die Terasse luden uns zum Verweilen mit einem Glas lokalem Wein ein. Dennoch haben wir auch viel gesehen, da die Unterkunft vor den Toren Colmars war ideal gelegen um das Elsass zu erkunden ohne im Verkehr zu ersticken. Alles in allem sehr schön und wenn es uns wieder ins Elsass zieht, würden wir gerne wieder kommen.

Jeder kennt sie, die bange Frage "Hält das Angebot, das die Bilder im Netz versprechen, auch in der Realität bestand?". Hier könnt ihr aufatmen. "Le Sesame" ist auch in natura eine wunderschöne FeWo. Liebevoll und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Alle Dinge für einen gelungenen Aufenthalt sind vorhanden. Die Betten sind weich, aber bequem. Der Vermieter hat uns sehr nett empfangen und ist auf unsere Wünsche ganz unkompliziert eingegangen. Beim Empfang wartete außerdem selbst gebackenes Brot und ein leckerer Cremant aus der Region auf uns. Der Standort der Gîte ist ländlich, aber ein zentraler Ausgangpunkt für Ausflüge. Sowohl in das nahegelegene Colmar, als auch zur eslsässischen Weinstraße mit ihren pittoresken Örtchen. Auch die Vogesen, Mulhouse und Strasbourg sind nur eine Stunde Autofahrt entfernt. Seinen Bedarf an Lebensmitteln kann man in 5 Minuten Autofahrt zum nächsten Bäcker oder 10 Minuten Autofahrt zum nächsten Carrefour bequem decken. Zweimal wöchentlich findet in der Region ein kleiner Markt statt, in dem die örtlichen Bauern ihre Produkte günstig anbieten. Saftiges Landbrot, fluffiges Brioche und andere Leckereien bietet der Vermieter mittwochs und freitags auch auf dem Hof zum Erwerb an. Wir sagen Danke an die Familie Ley für einen tollen Aufenthalt und die nette Betreuung vor Ort.
