"Staff were really lovely and helpful. Room was very clean and quiet, and the hotel was perfectly situated in the centre of Hexham. The only issues were the very few parking spaces available, and the fact we could only park for up to 2hrs with a permit during the day, if there wasn’t any space in the tiny car park. But we loved the hotel itself and would recommend. "

"I was a completely unplanned visitor who trekked the moors at night to reach the Inn. Though the only thing that happened on the moors was fulfilling an American's silly Holmesian fantasy of walking the moors at night, everyone was concerned for my safety and I really appreciated that. My stay was wonderful, the food was really delicious, and everyone with whom I spoke was just up-front and pleasant. I will be back some day and guess where I'll stay?"

"We stayed here for two nights for my sister's graduation, I really cannot praise this hotel enough. On arrival you notice how attractive the place is, there is loads of parking, and the surrounding countryside is quiet even though the road is nearby. Entering the building is equally impressive, the staff are incredibly warm and welcoming, nothing seemed to be too much trouble. I was expecting a pub/B&B but this feels more like a luxury hotel with beautiful lounges, comfortable chairs and books...

"The room was excellent, bed was so comfortable that we slept in on our 1st night, leaving only 1 and a half hours to get ready for a wedding we were going to. The bathroom was lovely, a large shower with rainfall head. Very deep bath that we used on 2nd day. A great menu and restaurants to choose from. "Stayed in the Hadrian Suite which is a beautifully designed space, very impressive. Very warm welcome and friendly service throughout. Comfortable bar area downstairs with great dining options. Definitely recommend if you're visiting this stunning part of England – they will help with guidance for walks and dark skies star spotting etc. "
