"We absolutely loved this house! It had everything you could possibly need and more. Just perfect for our two families staying with teens. The ping pong table kept our 18 yr olds entertained all week long and the beautiful covered patio was so relaxing. Close to Cashiers and singles grocery store. The host was so responsive and amazing to work with! We will definitely be back. "

"Windy Hill Lodge is an absolute paradise in the mountains! The cabin, and all of its amenities, were absolutely top-notch and the process of checking in couldn't have been easier! I don't know if there's better views anywhere in North Carolina! We enjoyed Windy Hill Lodge so much that we never even went into town… Just stayed and enjoyed the views and the great breeze!We cannot wait to return next year!"

"My family including my 13 year old daughter and 9 year old son and wife stayed for a week at this beautiful, secluded, and relaxing home. We enjoyed the cool mornings and convenient location to area hikes, waterfalls, and nice mountain towns. It is a little bit off the beaten path but is nice change forThe rat race of the day to day life. The small lake is nice out front but unfortunately you’re not allowed to fish it. That was the only small disappointment. "

"This home was perfect for our family of four (kids 10 and 12) and dog. If you want privacy and room to roam, this is tough to beat. We hiked 2 full days straight from the house and didn't see another person either day. Amazing waterfall after waterfall, jumping holes, lagoons to relax and play in, etc. The host provides great details and instructions how to access all the best spots right from the house. We also loved the peaceful gazebo along the river for grilling, fishing, and playing in the river at night. The sauna was an added bonus. We cooked most meals at the house but also made the quick trip into Cashiers for dinner a couple nights. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for privacy and easy access to secluded trails along the river!"

"We felt like we were perched in a treehouse for a few days! The house was immaculate and comfortable. The host, Jason, was a quick communicator and very helpful. We would love to come back!"

"House was exactly as described and the view was phenomenal. We had 13 people - extended family and our daughter’s roommates from Clemson. We had plenty of space for everyone. Played lots of games at the big table, ate great food, hiked Whitesides Mountain trail, and visited several waterfalls - Dry Falls was our favorite. Beautiful area. It was hard to tell from the house description, but three of the bedrooms are on the lower level by the game room. It sure is nice to have a second full kitchen down there! Bedroom on main level was great so grandma didn’t have to navigate stairs too much. We’d love to visit again!"
