"The people and accommodations were outstanding! Well worth the stay for the money!"

"Lovely location overlooking a lake. It was snowing and cold for the entire weekend which made the gas fireplace a real treat. The kitchen was fully stocked which was nice. Having to provide our own kitchen and bathroom towels, TP, paper towels, and garbage bags wasn’t a problem, but it would have been helpful to know that before the day of our check-in. The hot tub looked very inviting but there weren’t stairs or a stool to help get in and out so we couldn’t use it. That really was the only disappointing part of the entire (family) girl’s trip. Guests need to also be ware that there isn’t any WiFi, so you cannot work from here (which also wasn’t known), and that the only way to get upstairs is by using a narrow spiral staircase. We had a wonderful weekend enjoying each other’s company and thank the host for his hospitality. "

"The hotel is in the middle of remodeling their rooms. We stayed in one of the newly remodeled rooms. The room was clean, beds were comfortable. My husband and I enjoyed the bar area. Jenny was our bartender. She was very nice and enjoyed making a variety of different cocktails for us to try. The bar serves food and there is also a Perkins restaurant attached to the hotel."
