"We stayed in one of the cabins at the rear if the pub. Very clean, and location at back of pub was well maintained and enclosed, which was perfect as we have a dog. Only downside is one shared toilet and shower between the four cabins, it was clean and didnt cause any issues so only small downside. There are other toilets in the pub itself. Each cabin has a double bed, sofa bed, tv and drawer unit and kettle. Tea, coffee, bicsuits and 1 litre bottle of water in cabin on arrival. The pub itself offers good quality food and drink and is very reasonablly priced. We ate there one night and it was excellent, staff are helpful. The breakfast was freshly cooked and very nice. Location wise the pub is a couple of miles outside of Whitby centre. There is access to the old railway line that has been made into a pathway, all the way into Whitby, which is perfect if you have dogs. A nice walk."
