Whistler Creekside Luxurious Unit in Taluswood

Taluswood Seven is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, ski-in and ski-out home located in the upper Nordic area of Creekside. This is a quiet complex away from the crowds, situated close to Lower Dave Murray ski run and the Creekside Gondola.

A secure, heated garage to store your skis, boards, or bikes in. The full kitchen has modern appliances. Nespresso (original pod) and Keurig coffee makers, and a french press. Queen bed in the master, with en-suite and a jetted tub. 2nd bedroom has two twin beds and separate bathroom with shower. Relax in front of the wood-burning fireplace. Firewood is included (while supply lasts). Watch your favourite sports or a movie on the 55" flat 4K HDTV. Each bedroom also has HDTV. The wireless internet provides speeds of up to 300 Mbps. Bose bluetooth speaker to stream your music. Ensuite washer and dryer. Natural gas Weber BBQ on large, private balcony. A communal hot tub in the complex is approximately a 5 minute walk from the unit (or drive in the winter months) and is open year round. The swimming pool is open for guests only in summer months (June-September).

24/7 guest services through our property management Mountain Hideaways. Stays of a week or longer include a mid-week service and linen change.

Creekside is known for its laid back vibe, where many locals and discerning visitors come to escape the crowds. It doesn't lack in awesome Apres spots. Dusty's Bar & BBQ is located next to the Creekside Gondola. Aura restaurant and Cure lounge at Nita Lake Lodge, The Red Door Bistro, and the Rimrock Cafe all offer incredible dining experiences. Great pizza at Creekbread. Roland's sports bar is a funky spot to watch your favourite team. These are all within a 5 minute drive.

PLEASE NOTE: This unit is not on a bus or shuttle route. It is highly recommended that guests arrive with a vehicle as it is challenging to walk to the Creekside village from our place or get to the Whistler village area. Taxi service is available, and ride hailing is currently not offered.

Also note, this is NOT a slope side ski-in/out. The ski-in and ski-out trails are a short 2 minute walk, and are best suited for advanced skiers/riders, and not recommended for beginner/novice level. If you don't want to use the trails, there is free parking at Creekside parkade.

No smoking permitted in the unit. As per strata by-laws, there is no smoking permitted anywhere on the property. Taluswood is a non-smoking complex. Please respect this strata complex bylaw.

The stay was fantastic. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy the ski in/out was but on days we drove- parking is free in Creekside and very close. The wood burning fireplace with gas assist made relaxing after a day on the mountain extra easy. The kitchen was nicely equipped for our needs and the grocery store was under 10 minutes. The bed was comfy and the water was hot. The house felt very clean. I’d love to stay again when we come back.

We chose the perfect property for our stay in Whistler. The kitchen is among the best equipped I have experienced with a rental through VRBO. We enjoyed the relaxing living area with woodburning fireplace (the gas assist was awesome!) The beds were comfortable and we utilized the hot tub daily after skiing. Above all, the owners Larry and Sherri get a resounding 5 stars for being attentive and accomodating. They left a nice care package for us upon arrival which was much appreciated and even sent us a video of the ski in/ski out trail ahead of time. We would recommend a stay in this unit! Thanks, Larry & Sherri!

This place exceeded my expectations and was location in a good quiet neighborhood. This was great for our family stay and made it more relaxing. The balcony was nice and on a clear night the sky was beautiful. The fire place was nice and the furniture was nice as well. Overall we had a great stay and enjoyed all the cabin details in this place.

We loved the apartment and enjoyed our stay. Beds were comfortable, wood burning fireplace is a great plus! We felt very fortunate to stay here. Thank you. Would definitely stay here again. I would not classify this as a ski-in-ski out location. Note: In winter you need a 4x4 to get to this location and the garage cannot accommodate larger vehicles. There is no shuttle, Uber or available taxis if you have car trouble. The walk down the mountain is pretty though :-)

Our family had a wonderful time skiing in Whistler. This is a great place to stay that is convenient to the slopes. The wood burning fireplace was perfect for staying warm and cozy during the attic blast. We will definitely come back and stay here again!

We very much enjoyed our stay. Both the unit and the neighbourhood are nice and quiet; well located, close to town but pleasantly out of the fray. The unit has a great kitchen, spacious deck, and a BBQ, all of which we appreciated. The hosts were very considerate and communicated well leading up to our stay. The property manager likewise stayed in touch. Overall, a great experience.

Lovely place, nicely appointed. We opted to drive to the hot tub. Creek side is wonderful but we were glad to have a rental car to get to Whistler for dining and shopping. Ski in/out during low snow days are treacherous.. a literal skating rink within trees. We ran into someone who said that their friend broke an elbow for ski out and other members took off skis and slid down but still lost control.

Had a great stay. We all found the beds especially comfortable, and really appreciated the televisions in all rooms, the fireplace was lovely and the unit is quiet which is great. The host and on site caretaker are very responsive. As is stated in the description- there is no bus service which could be a problem for some and the hot tub is not accessible by foot so was not convenient for us to use as you have to get into your car and drive there etc. also remember you need to bring Keurig coffee pods as there is no drip coffee maker.

This condo is just so lovely from start to finish, top to bottom. Everything as advertised and more. We absolutely loved the classic mountain decor, comfortable family room with gas-assist wood burning fireplace with an incredibly cozy feel surrounded by huge snowy trees. The ski in and out trails are great for intermediate skiers in peak season, tons of snow made the trip to and from Dave Murray Downhill super fun. The beds are very comfortable, a welcome perk! Lots of opens for your coffee preference (french press, Nespresso, Keurig) plus a very well stocked kitchen. We will absolutely stay again. I just loved this condo complex. A blissful few days in the tranquil mountains.

We spent 4 great weeks at Whistler Creekside skiing and enjoying Whistler/Blackcomb. Taluswood apartment was great, clean and well supplied with all necessary items for cooking and cleaning. Property management was very responsive when asked for replenishing of bathroom and kitchen supplies. We really did appreciate that everything was as advertised and in good fate. My wife had unfortunate skiing injury in the last week of our stay and Larry and Sherry were very understanding when approving our request for late checkout. Overall, we are very happy with our stay and we are happy to endorse this property to future renters, beside the fact that Whistler is the great all year around playground for outdoor enthusiasts.

We are very pleased with our experience at Taluswood 7. The condo is clean, comfortable, and well furnished. Access is easy, yet it is high above Creekside in the peaceful forest. There is a ski in trail and a ski out trail, or a quick 2-3 minute drive brings you to the free parking garage at Creekside base. All the appliances in the kitchen are new. We enjoy cooking, and we’re happy to find a well stocked kitchen with cookware and utensils, and there is a grill on the spacious deck. Furniture and bedding are very comfortable which is key after a full day of hitting the slopes. Thank you!

Lovely condo. However....Previous reviews commented on failure of pin pad on garage door to properly operate. Additionally, the remote garage door opener failed and requires some finagling to open the garage door. After a long day of travel the last thing we wanted was immediate challenges to garage access. Other than that, all was lovely. The kitchen is well appointed, but there aren’t any steak knives. We just shared the one small paring knife. Whistler is lovely and snow was great!

For non-skiers this was a great place to relax and chill out in front of the wood fire for a few days. It snowed while we were there which was stunning. Having a garage was fabulous and the shops at Creekside were very convenient. Directions were very clear and easy to understand. We did find that the kitchen was well stocked with appliances (apart from a blender or Nutra-bulet) and the fireplace was fabulous. On arrival there were two partially burnt pieces of wood in the basket by the fire. We felt the wood basket should have been restocked prior to guest arrival, which after a long day of travel we really didn't feel like going back out to the garage to get wood. The apartment also felt like it was in need of a really thorough clean, (dusty and the cushions didn't feel fresh) noting we are very fussy. The wi-fi and TV in the second bedroom didn't work overly well. I do note that the hosts had highlighted to call if anything wasn't in order, however we decided not to worry so that is on us. The apartment felt considerably smaller than the photos in our opinion. Overall we had an enjoyable stay. Beautiful location.

This condo could not be more perfect for a family or even a couples trip. I have two kids and this place has plenty of room for everyone to have some quiet time after coming back from the slopes. Getting there was a breeze thanks to the very detailed directions provided by the owner. We walked in to a generous gift basket filled with goodies and a bottle of local wine. Such a nice treat after a long day of travel. There is also a book of resources answering almost any question you may have about the condo or about things to do in Whistler. We were able to stock up on groceries at the nearby market in Creekside and were able to make very nice dinners thanks to the gas grill and all of the cooking utensils they had on hand. I can’t forget to mention how wonderful it was to have a washer and dryer in the condo! We were able to pack light and wash as we needed. One thing worth mentioning, especially if you have kids, is that the WiFi works really well. The kids were able to stay in touch with their friends and download movies for the trip home. The ski-in/ski-out option is great for more advanced skiers, but with our kids were not able to use it. That said, driving into the Village just takes 10 minutes, and about a 5 minute drive to Creekside gondola. Finding parking wasn’t a problem and it was not expensive to pay for the day. One service I highly recommend is the Blacktie Ski service. We arranged for them to come to the apartment to fit us for all of our equipment. They bring everything directly to you and pick it all up after your done with it. We had a couple of changes from snowboard to skis and they happily came back out to bring the new equipment. Storing the equipment was easy as there is a space in the garage specifically for your ski equipment. There is no need to have to carry your equipment up and down any stairs! The property hot tube isn’t too far from the condo. You can walk, but we drove. It is an outdoor hot tub, but it gets super hot and the jets are strong. A nice treat after a day on the slopes. Overall it was an amazing vacation for me and my family. The condo was the perfect retreat for us. I can’t wait to return!
