"The room is clean but the carpet looks very old. And the room very dark as the lights are dull. Again no socket near the bed. A lot of noise in the morning at the ground floor just outside our bedroom."

"A lovely friendly welcome from Michael at reception. All the staff were great. The room was comfortable and had everything I needed. The fan was a definite bonus in the hot weather although the room stayed fairly shaded too. There was some traffic noise but it didn't disrupt my sleep at all (room 16). "Dated room , smelled of smoke , the bathroom door lock was broken . Noise from room next door from 3-4 am . Hotel doesn’t do food , we didn’t know we had to pay for parking that was another £15. We were only there from 9 pm till before 8 am the next day . Wouldn’t return "

"Very basic but even for the price the rooms were dusty. Cobwebs hanging off the walls. We had two nights due to a local wedding. Asked to move rooms because the mattress was terrible. Was told all the mattresses are the same and getting upgraded in the winter. Changed rooms, slightly better mattress. Even for a cheap night I'd expect no cobwebs / dust and a decent mattress. Won't go again."
