"The Lairds House is a unique place to stay. It has an historic charm and well furnished hotel rooms. I also ate there and the meal was good, but did suffer from an upset stomach after. In the morning as a result I had a very simple breakfast, avocado on toast which was slightly below par.
My main concern was having booked through Expedia there was a dog fee which wasn’t clear of £15. Having been told I had settled up my bill the night before and tried to leave was made to feel as if I was trying...

"This is a little gem of an inn. The drive along the way is picturesque and Otterburn itself is darling. Our host for the Old Post Office was very accommodating. We arrived after the normal check-in time and she was very welcoming. Our room was immaculate and our shower had lots of hot water. Breakfast was excellent, including our coffees (flat white and vanilla latte). We also enjoyed the back patio area with plenty of seating. Definitely recommend this inn!"
"About 6 students stay in the house.
At 11.15pm on Wednesday 8th July I could not get to sleep because they were talking loudly and I told them to be quiet. they did. The same happened on Friday night at midnight I told them to be quiet, they did. Every B&B has milk sachets but not here. I was given a tin of milk but this was no good
Dont come because of the noisy students.
This house is situated in Ocean Road which is full of cafes/restaurants which are mostly Indian ones It is also near South...
