"I had a fantastic 2 night stay here. Mark was an excellent host. The breakfast was superb and the rooms are immaculate. The location is very peaceful with safe parking for vans etc. There are 2 good pubs local for evening meals etc. Overall a fantastic place and I will definitely return."

"Lovely, well maintained Victorian building with staff who go the extra mile to be welcoming and helpful. Parking is available though limited. Rooms are clean and comfortable, with roomy en-suite baths. There is a lot of traffic on the nearby roads, so bring earplugs if you're sensitive to noise."

Their was no TV remote (should have been checked I think by house staff) however the staff did all they could to find another and sort the problem. The hotel car park has a couple of EV charging points in it which worked perfectly and were much appreciated. "This is not walking distance from the Manchester airport. Just a heads up. Shuttle was not running & I found out that it only runs a few hours very early mornings. So just be prepared to spend 15 to 20 pounds for a taxi ride. With that said, great place. Needed a place to stay for about 10 hours to get a shower and nap before my next leg of an overseas flight.
