"Beautiful hotel! "

"Had a very comfortable 2 night stay. The room was spacious and clean with a great en-suite. Staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast and dinner plentiful and very tasty. Parking was easy on site. Highly recommend."

"Delusions of grandeur. A very small room with barely enough room to open a suitcase, slightly shabby decor. So many cushions on the bed that when you removed them they took up most of the available floor space! Bathroom ok but nowhere to put toiletries. Dinner ok, but nothing special. It was all “ok” but disappointing compared to the hype on the website."

"The staff were all excellent The parking very good Ev chargers made a difference Our room 305 was a top rated room but could be made better with a few little tweaks. Eg Some of the tiles over the bath need re grouting as do a couple of floor tiles. The fire escape windows could not be locked properly which gave us a bit of worry about security while we were not in the room. "Even though there are positives in that this hotel is located in a quiet area and has ample parking I do not know how it is rated a 4 star. The decor is from the 70’s and needs a serious update. Even though the website says there is a fan in the room I had to go down to reception and ask for one. The carpets need replacing and there is no ramp into the reception area so you have to carry any luggage up and down stairs. No fridge in the room either. The wi-if was so bad I couldn’t have a 5 minute...

"The Cottage is a perfect choice if you want clean, quiet, and private accommodations that are walking distance to the Sudbury shops, to the meadows, and to public transportation. The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances and utensils and has a peaceful view of the garden and the meadows beyond. "Wonderful clean room with many amenities. Exceptional dinner and breakfast all served by very friendly staff. Hotel is in a beautiful setting with lovely large patio, plenty of outside comfortable seating with marvellous views across the gardens. Second time we have stayed here and will definitely be back again!"

But they did have a small fan in The room Which helped a bit. Never ever wanted air con in any hotel anywhere in the world. But as England is having a heat wave in June. "Enjoyed my stay, the hotel was clean and tidy and had good amenities including a great breakfast and dinner was convenient rather than 5 star. The other challenge was onsite or limited onsite parking. Would I stay again, yes I would if I am back visiting my client."
