"The property was in a very run down and unsafe area. I was not comfortable once I actually drove to the property and ended up making other arrangements. The VRBO post did not accurately show the area and the level of comfort or safety one should expect. And when we made the decision it was not safe to stay there, the host was completely unwilling to work with me to recover any of our spend. I am encouraging you think very hard about this property. There was no way to know what you were getting till you arrive, and we didn’t even go in the house as the area was not conducive to family stays, in my opinion. Houses boarded up next store and homes with overgrown yards and broken down boats on the street. Extremely disappointed with the property and the way it was handled ."

"The ad say it sleeps 3 people. There was 2 towels and half a roll of toilet paper. I had to message him through the app and text numerous times to get info on how to checkin.Sheets/blankets were dirty. All of the dishes in the diswasher were dirty.We ended up adding an extra 2 people at the last minute and before I could even say anything to him about it he already knew because apparently he had been watching through the cameras.He was ok with this but charged 200 extra dollars...seems like alot considering the average is 20-40 more per person usually. He lives in the back yard in a camper...we felt like we were being watched through the windows. He parked in the driveway so we had to pull behind him...he woke us up at 6am banging on the doors to move our vehicle. The ad doesnt say anything about he parks there so dont park behind him...we were there fornthe festival and got in late so we had to park behind him. The tvs didnt work. The bathrooms floods. Its by far the worst place Ive stayed through VRBO. All this but still has the audacity to leave a tip jar. Smh"
