"Cory, the manager of The Fox, is a lovely host. Super hard working, he is around to serve breakfast and still managing the bar late at night. Nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are spacious and warm. Parking is immediately outside the rooms and easily accessed. Bury St Edmund’s is a lovely town with excellent shopping and coffee shops. Strongly recommend staying at The Fox for visiting Bury St Edmunds."

"Good hotel service and staff Bit out of town so need to get a cab / uber but free parking is a bonus"

Recommend staying at pubs the staff make everything perfect"

I will definitely be booking there again and I can not recommend it enough. Lovely bar with a nice atmosphere. I was solo travelling and the staff were more than happy to chat while I enjoyed my drink at the bar. I didn't have the breakfast as...

"The perfect place to stay. Easy walking distance into town. Adjacent to the cathedral. Staff were great. The room was very clean and bed amazingly comfortable. Would recommend and will be staying here again."

"King room in the modern accommodation block was small but fine, a good find. Dinner was great pub grub. We hadn’t realised that breakfast is not available (Sun-Fri) but that was also fine."
