However, we asked for some food as we arrived in the evening, and whilst the small plates of tapas were enjoyable, the Manager proceeded to charge us €15 each (€30 total) for some ham, tomato and mozzarella, bread, aubergine and a bottle of water. No bar - we stayed here for shelter during typhoon and would have been nice for casual area for wine and antipasto to escape from our room during storm but we understand it is what it is. Good range of options at dinner; fixed, a La carte, or pizza. Huge wine selection. "

"It was a nice quiet base for us for two days on a round-Sicily road trip. In the middle of farm fields, with a charming medieval tower, but not too far from the main road, it allowed us to see a different slice of Sicily. We didn't eat at the restaurant. Breakfast was just a standard OK breakfast."
