"Location, location, location. Steps to the National Gallery, the National Portrait Gallery, and a 10-min walk to many theatres. Tube stations nearby. Hundreds of restaurants. We usually stay in cheaper digs farther from city centres, so this was very different. You step out the door and you're in the heart of London. Walking home from the theatres late at night, there are so many people around, you don't feel worried. (Except, of course, pickpockets are prowling, so take measures.)
Our room was very nice, modern decor, reasonable amount of space (for a London hotel), well appointed, and meticulously maintained. Would stay again & recommend to others."
