"Great property right off the highway. The pool and hot tub were great and open late for my traveling family. The beds were very comfortable and breakfast was good."

WDM is great, but make SURE your GPS works. So many curved, winding streets--you don't know which direction you're driving. I grew up in this city and WDM streets used to be a nice, easy grid; no longer. I suspect graft, but what do I know?

West Des Moines has always been fairly nice. I'll say though, its gotten very congested over the years. Good for the economy I'm sure. Just very busy.

I stay here once or twice every year. There is an authentic Chicago pizza place I love. (Rosati's Brothers). It makes the stay enjoyable for me.
"Older property but maintained. The kitchen was an added bonus. The bed and sheets were of excellent materials. I will stay again. Our reservation was for three nights. "
"saw that trash can by the back door was completely full and that someone had left the back door open with an empty trash can when the door should have been closed"
"100% recommend the Drury Inn in West Des Moine Iowa. Multiple amenities within walking distance and the “snack” served by the hotel was a full meal and drinks! Yes yes yes "
