"Rooms were huge, lovely bath in bathroom as well. But the man at the reception was amazing. Had alot of information about places to see and recomendations and even went out of his way to get more for us. Would def recommend this place"

"Clean comfortable room surrounded by amazing gardens with flowers in full bloom. The steakhouse was another highlight, great steak with a fully stocked cellar. The TV didn't work so well but wasn't needed."

"Clean room. We were in deluxe. Good value ."

"This place has character, lovely big old home. Our room was huge. Easy walk into town"

"Good stay"

"This place is perfect for the business traveller. Although parking is a bit of a squeeze, the rooms are spacious, comfy bed, have a great desk to work at, (no freezer in the fridge, though...) and walking distance to everything useful - supermarkets, food, pubs, banks and so on. This is not a 5 star rated premises (probably 3-4 star rating) but it is 5 star for the price. This will be my first choice in future when in Mount Gambier."

"Amazing place to stay"

"The room and bathroom facilities were excellent, outside the garden and parking area were slightly neglected do first impression was disappointing."

This is one of the best places we have stayed in on our Australia trip."

"Nice old hotel, unfortunately the beautiful balconies are not safe for guests. The first room we were offered had a strong smell of cleaning products and the windows didn’t open. However the helpful staff provided a different room which was very comfortable."

"This was a great experience, a must do"

"Absolutely appalling and unacceptable behaviour from the motel owner! We simply wanted to extend our stay for one night, but due to poor communication between reception and staff, the owner turned up at our door without even knocking and rudely demanded why we were still there, insisting we pay first.
