"Although the stream was devastated by the Vermont floods, it was still enjoyable to relax and watch pass by. Several opportunities to explore the area for fishing and hiking. Host was very accommodating and attentive. The wood burning stove made some of best vacation breakfasts ever. Great vacation!"

"This cottage was adorable! It was clean, although it did have cobwebs. Bathroom was immaculate. Shower is small so be prepared. Kitchen was adequate, it needs a better knife available and a cutting board. The location was good for what we wanted. The lake is not quite out the door as we anticipated due to the pictures presented in the listing. That was a bit disappointing but not a deal breaker. Everyone should go to Plymouth by way of Dick Brown Rd for an awesome experience."

"Ed’s cabin is just a few steps away from the lake so morning coffee was beautiful experience. Check in was easy, cabin had everything we needed and the fireplace was a great touch since we had some rain, it took the chill away. It was a very nice stay."

"This cute Newfound Lake vintage cottage is so cute. It has all you need to enjoy the area. If you are looking for a cozy lake rental in the woods and nature close to beaches and town this place is great! Great location for winter fall or summer! (Never been to the area in the spring)I stayed in the middle of winter and it was warm, beautiful and accessible. I bet in the summer it is so beautiful! "Everything about this cottage was exactly what we were looking for, and needed, for our Labor Day getaway weekend! The beds were comfortable, excellent water pressure in the shower, and kitchen equipped with the essentials (including a drip coffee maker), but our favorite things were access to the private beach and the view of Newfound Lake! The open air deck was a bonus; we had breakfast on it each morning and spent a few evenings looking up at the night sky. Ed and Cathy were excellent hosts...

"The house was as lovely as the pictures! We felt right at home in the house which had everything we needed to cook meals, do laundry, and enjoy ourselves. We had a great time teaching the kids to play pool in the game room. The location was great for easy access to I-93, skiing, and hiking. I definitely recommend it!"
