Great paradise in North end of Newfound Lake

This was a spectacular stay weather matched the great location and responsiveness of the hosts. We were at home and sad to go. The neighbors and others were very kind and the location is the closest you wil ever get to the Lake literally 12 feet. This was a most memorable stay and we plan to be back! The best hosts great care for renters above and beyond!

Beautiful

This cottage is a hidden gem! We had an amazing week relaxing here! The cottage itself is immaculate and fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The beach was perfect for our little ones. We can’t wait to come back next year!

Perfect quiet getaway

This was our second year at this cottage. A perfect lake side setting. Quiet and restful. Deck, dock and beach area right outside the door. Beautiful view. Well stocked. Just what we were looking for.

Lake house

It was exactly as advertised, beautiful view, very clean and well provisioned. We loved sitting on the deck for breakfast , lunch and dinner. We were worried about the shared dock but it was not an issue and worked out just fine. Now if only something could be done about the weather :)

Sweet little house and spot

Our family of four visited the in late August and spent every day in the lake swimming and fishing. It is a lovely little house and it had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. And if there was something we needed, there wasn’t anything we couldn’t get after short drive into town. The shared beach and shallow waterfront was big enough to share with the neighboring HOA members, without feeling we were encroaching into each others spaces - and in fact they were all so nice and welcoming.

A Slice of Heaven

We really can’t properly describe how outstanding our week was and how magnificent the location and accommodations were. It truly was a slice of heaven from the welcome treats to the well appointed interior comforts. Everything was more than one could hope for. We’ve booked our return trip for longer and can’t wait to come back to this serene cottage again! And, on top of all this - the owners were very receptive to our inquiries and very prompt in returning responses. Couldn’t be happier.

Wonderful spot

Perfect location for swimmers and boaters

Excellent stay. Cabin was just right for us. Can't beat the location. Plenty of room on the beach and a floating dock to keep the kids occupied.

Perfect waterfront cabin steps away from private beach with plenty of shallow water for children

We had a fabulous time in and on this CLEAN quiet lake. Relaxing Kayaking fishing and swimming all week. Hosts were wonderful and supplied everything we needed and more. There can’t be a better spot on Newfound Lake. Best lake vacation!

Lake Life Simplicity and Splendor

Our young family had a wonderful time at this property. The cabin kitchen was well appointed with all the basics. The cabin was clean and the owner was responsive and communicative throughout the process. Beds were comfortable. They even had great toys, books, floats, games, life jackets for the kids and a pack n play. The views were beautiful. The kids had a blast on the kayaks. The beach was nice and quiet with very friendly and kind neighbors who respected privacy but would have a conversation if that's what you're looking for. The location was on a nice and quiet spot on the lake. The Audobon trails are a minute or two down the road. The cabin was really quaint and simple. We were pleased with the cleanliness and newness of the cabin. It was easy check in and out process. The boat slip is a nice bonus. The cabin had just enough creature comforts for a suburban family while not having so many that the kids were glued to the TV or internet. Great place to stay.

Excellent lake get-a-way

My friends and I take an annual fall lake vacation when we bring our boat to ski and enjoy cruising on the water. We chose Newfound Lake this year because we heard of the Newfound Lake Rendezvous where wooden boats are displayed and one of our party brought the boat that he built. We had a great time at the Rendezvous!! We had a wonderful week in the very clean, quaint cottage. The house was well furnished and had everything we needed (except for internet connection :( We spent a lot of time on the deck with a beautiful view of the lake. We also enjoyed the hiking trails and the nearby small towns. Thank you for sharing your property with us.

Late summer vacation

This charming cottage was all we needed. Comfortable inside and out. Close dock, great deck , swim area was nice with sandy beach and inside was cute, cozy and comfortable with out being cluttered. The kitchen was fine with out an oven. Other appliances were nice. We plan to return

Relaxing

Great week on our 1st visit to the area. The lake was such a treat & being that the cottage was right there on it was why we rented. The home was perfect for us (family of 4, daughters 11 & 15). The description is exactly as mentioned on VRBO. The only thing we could have used was a sharper knife, but other than that, there were plenty of supplies. Clean, plenty of towels, sheets, blankets, cleaning supplies. The road behind the house can be busy at times, little loud, but not bad. The property owner was very responsive, the neighbors were nice, respectful of our privacy. We brought our boat and had a blast skiing /wakeboarding/tubing. Would love visit again! Thank you for sharing your home with us :)

Wonderful week

Our experience was what we needed with this small cottage on the foot of the most beautiful lake in New England. The morning coffee on the deck was so tranquil. The inside of the cottage is what you’d expect but the owner has done a great job at renovating and modernizing the space. The beaches were sandy and had a raft for the kids. I look forward to making this a yearly tradition going forward.

Great location with a view, dock and beach

The home was well appointed and great for kids. We were able to watch them swim, fish and kayak right from the deck. We met up on the beach with other families as well and enjoyed the view each morning from the sliding doors. The owner was communicative. The window air kept the home cool even with high temperatures.
