"Normally a very good hotel. Currently had an extension being built. So plenty of daytime noise. Had a broken shower that I’ve been informed will get fixed. However my main concern/problem was a member of staff called Lilac (or some similar). Rude just doesn’t cut it. Repeatedly interrupted her colleague at time of check in. Unfortunately very noisy hot and smelly due the kitchen extractor fan located outside the bedroom window. Breakfast although served by helpful waitress was poor, I x small rasher of bacon, a small what looked like and tasted like cheap brand sausage. Toast was thin tasteless cheap (45p) supermarket...

"The staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect, this farm is a fabulous escape and more ! The lodge was clean and well equipped and had the added luxury of a hot tub. We didnt try the axe throwing or the archery but we will be back so who knows"

"All round good facilities, parking, cleanliness and food"

"Lovely comfortable room and excellent staff. We really liked the food- dinner and breakfast were spot on."

"Lovely hotel in the centre of Taunton. We had a spacious, well-appointed room on the third floor with a nice view of the town. The hotel is an older building with lots of historic details / decor so it has a nice vibe. Daily room service kept everything clean and fresh and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is amazing: steps from the high street shops, cafes and pubs - you can't beat it. We'd definitely recommend this hotel and will stay again next time were in Taunton."

"Loved my stay at the hotel. Friendly staff and a nice breakfast."

"Room was cleaned daily ...coffee tea was replaced daily but weather was so good out early so didn't have meals there . So couldn't pass comment on this"

"No ask was deemed too complicated these hosts are next level kind, entertaining and accommodating! Even made me a delicious breakfast roll as I had an early start. Breakfast in the Victorian classroom a real highlight."
