"Stayed for 5 nights. Fantastic Views down the valley to Welshpool. Access via farm track through sheep field. Lodge very well laid out on one floor. Perfect secure dog area out the front of the property. Mike the owner was so quick to sort out a problem with the WiFi problem "

"Excellent Hotel and the Food was Amazing .Staff were fabulous .Breakfast was good as well. However we had a young girl at breakfast who didn’t look up to greet us.we had to ask where we were seated. She never returned to see if we needed more coffee! More training needed. Not a front person. The young girls we had for check in and our evening were Amazing . "

"This lodge is just lovely. It is located on a small sheep farm which was a great bonus. The sheep are on the fields like 6 feet from your door and they had just had babies! There are pheasants too. The lodge is well equipped and the beds comfy. The heating is really good; had to turn it down at times. The views are outstanding and on a clear night you can see so many stars. There is no noise from anywhere, it is so peaceful. It is about a 20 min drive from Shrewsbury so ideal for visiting. I would highly recommend this lodge to family and friends and will no doubt be back."
