"I stay at a lot of hotels (20-40 a year), and there have only been two instances where I have checked out of a hotel at my own expense without staying the night because it didn't feel right. Unfortunately this was one of them.
I want to be fair to the hotel but also give my honest review.
Pros:
Friendly helpful staff
Conviently located"
"Staff and stay was absolutely amazing! Very clean, coffee and ice available for free and any request were fulfilled with smiles on their faces. I’ll absolutely be back!"
"Don't stay here if you need an elevator. We didn't realize it and we had to lug our suitcases up the steps to the second floor. Everything was just mediocre."
"I booked a double-bed room with a private bathroom, but when I checked in around 10 p.m., I discovered the bathroom was shared with unknown guests in another room and, unbelievably, it had no door lock. The bathroom was terrible: the showerhead looked over 50 years old and sprayed water unpredictably, the shower area was too small for a six-foot person, and the sink inside the room drained extremely slowly. The lodge even provides earplugs because it is so noisy.
