"Beautiful clean rooms and bathrooms. Just off M5 so very handy. Lovely staff around the hotel. Lovely bar facilities. Bit cheeky asking to pay £ 10 for car parking but I would still highly recommend thos hotel."

"Excellent property….vey well managed, beautifully presented, very clean and functional. "Nice hotel with big rooms but poor lighting to do make up and nowhere in the bathroom to put down a wash bag or make up bag … glass shelf too narrow! Exquisite food. Thank you"

"The room was Spotless. The bed waa comfortable- pillows a bit solid for me. Bathroom good but after showering the walk in shower water covered the floor making use of basin and toilet a bit hazardous. Breakfast was good and food regularly replenished."

"I have to say the staff were yet again amazing! Danielle and Callum were outstanding helping me when I turned up late and when I had to change rooms! The only thing that let the place down this time was the maintenance staff who did not fix my tv when I complained that it turned off every 10mins! Which was most frustrating"

Hotel Du Vin Exeter

Hotel Du Vin Exeter

8/10 Good
"The room was lovely and the offer of a free drink in the bar in exchange for no housekeeping is clever. Such a good idea. Unfortunately the wedding in the hotel on Saturday night dominated all the communal areas of the hotel which meant that we couldn’t have the nightcap in the bar we were hoping for, as well as there being the thumping of the music from the wedding in our room until well after 11pm. Had we known yet the bar area would be pretty much out of action to other guests we might have chosen to stay elsewhere."
