"I am beyond grateful for this stay! We stayed here as a family of 3 (two adults, 1 teen) for a long weekend getaway. I could not have picked a better option! The home is as described and very clean and comfortable. You enter up 3 flights of modern, comfortable stairs into a small vestibule shared with the hosts. From there, you enter through a locked door into a private hallway. Take the hallway to the right to find a large, comfortable bedroom and a clean and functional bathroom with laundry....

"This apartment is in a perfect location and the pictures are exactly what you get. There are 2 very large bedrooms with 2 good sized baths. We were greeted with a great bottle of wine, which was so appreciated after our long travels (Thank you Daan!) We had an issue with no hot water and a broken hair dryer (which we were alerted to by Daan). The hot water was fixed relatively quickly (needed a new part), and the hair dryer was replaced that same day. Later in our stay, the heat stopped...

"My husband and I spent 8 days in Sebastian’s apartment. Everything was perfect. The flat is in a great location, very clean, with a comfortable bed and a wonderful coffee maker. We even had a welcoming bottle of wine and snacks awaiting us when we arrived. Sebastian provided a neighborhood guide to restaurants, grocery stores, laundry etc. He answered all our questions very promptly. All in all he was an excellent host and we would highly recommend this flat to anyone."

"Who wouldn’t want to stay in a real houseboat in Amsterdam….seriously? We so enjoyed our stay there. Out your living room window were all kinds of ducks swimming by. Nature is all around you. The area is very quiet at night which was what we wanted. Each evening, we sat around the kitchen table with wine, and charcuterie, sharing photos, and planning the next days’ activities. Lots of laughs! We were not far from the historic centre- it is a very short 10 min walk to the ferry which took us to...

"This flat has everything you need. We really loved our first time to Amsterdam. Like people said earlier the steps are a good workout! The flat is decorated very cute and the beds are very comfortable. So is the sofa!! It is easily accessible to the trams into the city and walking distance to cafés and grocery stores. It feels a little far from the city, but that also makes it really quiet and there is a lot of parking!! Valcim was really attentive to our needs too. Thank you so much!"

"The apartment is in a fantastic locale and was clean and orderly. Host provided personal visit to explain how everything operated. Felt very comfortable even with 4 adults. Convenience of being steps to the tram. Restaurants and cafes galore within an easy stroll."

"The owner is nice and thoughtful. The place is warm and well managed with complete needs provided. The surrounding area is safe and quiet even for late night. However, the owner is not using smartphone, adviceable to directly call his number. He will attend and waiting for check in. We enjoy our stay!"

"The location was close to everything but surprisingly quiet for being in the city. The hosts were amazing and gave me a ton of information about Amsterdam and what was nearby. It is a 3 story walk up with very steep/narrow stairs (which seem common in Amsterdam) so I would not recommend if you have a lot of large/heavy luggage. The beds had an adjustable base and were comfortable, which helped with sleep quality. I would stay there again in the future."

"Cute little apartment right on a canal. Had outdoor seating and a trampoline. Five minute walk from train station in a quiet neighborhood. It is perfect for a couple with a kid. Neighborhood parks are a three minute walk away. Nice escape from the city but with the added perk of quick access to the city. The hosts were fantastic, easy to communicate with, and very helpful with navigating the area."

"Mario was the best host; so easy to communicate with and genuinely kind. We appreciate his responsiveness and the laundry service. The apartment is large, comfortable for 6 people (we had 5). There is not a lift and the stairs can be challenging if you are above floor 2. The apartment is well stocked and furnished. Location is great; right in the heart of De Wallen. We would stay here again for sure. "

"Nice and quiet hotel. Room was nice and clean. Staff were helpful. We were able to check in early. The shower room was very open so it got all wet after one person took a shower. Also, hotel does not offer paper towel and paper tissues in the room. "
