"The property seem to cater to a younger clientele as depicted in its décor and unique, witty phrases on its bath amenities such as the shampoo, soap, shower cap etc. The hotel is in a quiet area near the airport. Both the surroundings and interior were clean and tidy. The lighting in the room was sufficient, however the bathroom vanity area was lacking. The light within the mirror was insufficient. There was a decent range of foods on the menu both in drinks and meal choices. The frequency of the shuttle service to the airport was good. The reception staff was efficient and helpful both at check in and assisting you with your luggage and arranging taxi pick up. Overall The Radisson RED got 4.5 stars out of 5. It is quite adequate as a layover hotel that puts you in close proximity to Gatwick Airport."

"We stayed for five nights as visiting family. Very spacious room. Yes the room needs a lick of paint. But clean and lovely big towels. What sells the hotel is that it has really helpful , friendly staff. Very close to town with heaps of shops and restaurants. Also free car park. It has a lovely on-site bar. Only downside no air conditioning and although we had a fan , it was a very hot week for U.K. "
