"The room was updated and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Exterior was fair. Area felt safe. Staff was not present when we arrived or when we departed, but left a number where they could be reached."

"The hotel was very clean and modern. They gave us cookies when we checked in. The rooms were spacious. We usually stay at another hotel when we come to visit our son but they were more than $100 more than the Cherokee hotel and only half as nice. We will continue to stay here!"

"A very nice place. The water is right there but you need to use a rope to access it. If the water is a little higher than it was when we visited there would be no shore to access. It’s a little annoying that they want to charge you for early access (40 for one hour early) but their check out requirements were refreshingly simple. Also, be careful pulling up on the driveway parking pad in front of the garage. I got a flat tire on my SUV. Very secluded and very nice."
