Shangri-La Resort

"We may be more particular than most people. In our room (402), the door to the balcony needs repaired as is hard to open & the shower nozzle needs replaced. Cleaning of the room was just okay/not excellent. Pool area was beautiful & Doc’s was a nice amenity. We were particularly disappointed in the Summit Restaurant, which has excellent service but the food quality was lacking. Everything was heavily over-peppered. Overall Shanghai-La Resort is a beautiful facility in a gorgeous location. We just maybe expected a little higher standard in our room."

"The house was wonderful. We loved the dock and the deck. The living room is large and beautiful. The bedrooms are great and it was nice to have a bathroom in each one. The host was very communicative. We had a wonderful time and it was perfect for our family and close friends who joined us."

"Beautiful quiet stay, it was just what we needed!! Enjoyed the TV & watching scary movies at night. The porch swing was great to sit out & listen to the birds. Close to several places that we wanted to go and see in the area. Easy walk down to the lake."

"Small, uncluttered and yet very warm and welcoming. Everything was clean and well maintained. The shower is the main thing mentioned in the guest book - and there’s a very good reason for that! Bed was a nice mixture of soft but firm. Overall, quite lovely stay. Host was very quick to respond and helpful with area knowledge."
