"we enjoyed an absolutely delightful rwo night stay in this historic inn. Walking distance to restaurants in Waterbury and close by car to other sites in the area. Wonderful breakfast and afternoon cookies. A very friendly owner and associates. The on-site pub is fun too."

"The elevators were a problem. Only one out of 3 were operational. We had to use the stairs and being in our 70’s isn’t ideal. The pantry coffee machine didn’t make good coffee. It was very weak even after pressing bold. The furnishings need updating. For the price you would expect a more upgraded room. The location was excellent."
