"The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The double sink and walk-in shower were nice features. Staff were very helpful and responsive. The only thing that was not of excellent quality was the morning breakfast. While the choice options were good the tastiness was lacking for most of the options."

"I stay at the Congress quite often and my experience is always amazing. This time wasn't I arrived early therefore my room wasn't ready so I took what they had no knowing the condition of the room The tub was clogged so while showering the water was filling up the remote didn't work so we couldn't watch TV the air didn't work it was extremely hot in the room. No one answered when I called and no one was at the front desk. When I checked out I wrote everything down and passed it to the front desk agent and he bald it up in my face. Although this was a bad example it's only one out of many beautiful extremely It is a amazing hotel with a beautiful view of the lake and other attractions so I will be returning"

"The staff was exceptional from the curb to the maintenance staff! The onsite cafe was reasonably price and food was excellent! In room coffee was the best I’ve ever had in a hotel. Room was spacious, well appointed and clean. Beds (even the hid-a-bed were comfortable. Parking was a bit pricey, but it’s Chicago downtown!"

"One of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Arrived way early for check in. Room was not ready but friendly reception did some digging. He found a better room, slight upcharge, he could put us in. Room was amazing-700 sq ft, huge lounge, bathroom & bedroom. It all felt brand new, so clean! Couches & bed so comfortable! Turn down service. Outstanding service, property & experience!"
