This is a really sweet place to stay. The beds were very comfortable. The sun room was a great place to start our days with our coffee while listening to the birdsong. The home is well stocked with the exception of ice cube trays for making ice. The location with access to the Four Mile Run Trail is an extra bonus to this home. I would definitely recommend this rental.

Great Location

The property was as described on VRBO. It should be noted that there are alot of stairs in the house with the bathrooms on the bottom floor and the 3rd floor. It was a quiet neighborhood with easy parking. The king size bed was amazing, so comfortable.

Little House in the Woods excellent location.

Dealing with the owner was super easy. Getting in was a breeze. The house is centrally located, a short ride from just about anywhere in the DC area, off the same road as Arlington Cemetery and the Memorial Bridge into DC itself. The house was clean, quiet and a lovely view of the forest grove. I recommend it.

The closeness to Ft. Myers was a big plus. The view of Arlington Forest was great. The stairs inside were a challenge. Access to the magnificent seating in the forest was also a challenge. A patio setting close to the house would have been helpful; yet the inside nook was great and similar to a patio. This was my first VRBO; I'll ask about stairs/steps next time. The host was helpful and responsive.

We had a great stay. The host was very nice. The area was nice and close to DC and shopping area. One thing I don’t like is that there is no TV in the house. No TV in living room or anywhere. We might stay again.

Perfect Family Home Base for Exploring DC and Arlington

We had a fantastic stay at this home during our recent family trip to Washington, DC! The location was ideal—nestled in Arlington, it gave us quick access to historic sites like Arlington National Cemetery and a smooth drive to Mount Vernon. At the same time, the Metro was just a short drive, making it incredibly convenient to get downtown and explore all the major attractions in DC without the hassle of city driving or parking. I recommend using SpotHero to get a parking spot. We never paid more than 8 for the day.The house itself was perfect for our family. It was clean, spacious, and very comfortable—truly a home away from home. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, and we appreciated having the best of both worlds: proximity to the heart of DC, and the charm and accessibility of Arlington.Overall, this was a wonderful experience from start to finish. We’d absolutely recommend this property to other families looking to enjoy everything the DC area has to offer!

Nice stay

First morning we saw a herd of deer on the backyard. Every morning there was a brillant sunrise from our upstairs bedroom. About 1 mile walk to the metro. Outback and Thai restaurant across the strret and a coffee cafe.

Great house in a wonderful location

The house was comfortable and spacious in a lovely neighborhood close to DC. We especially enjoyed being in such close walking distance to the greenway. Our host was welcoming and replied quickly to any questions. DWoulddefinitely stay here again!

Convenient but dirt-camouflaged gem

Cute house with suburban feel close to everything with only issue being basic housekeeping. We arrived to find a bottom sheet only on one bed and only a top sheet on the other after our ten hour drive. Not excited to go on sheet hunt and make beds. We had to rewash all dishes and silverware ptior to use. The dishwasher didn’t work. Dust rose from stained couches. A deep cleaning is all that's needed to make place a gem.

Arlington Forest

We had a great stay. It was like home. I had asked the host about a coffee pot as I did not see one in pictures. We packed ours, but when we got to the house the host had one. 😊☕️ Enjoyed being able to sit outside as the weather was beautiful, and having coffee down in the woods. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. The house was easy to get to. Will definitely stay here again. ♥️♥️

Quaint home in Arlington

Nice home in a pretty neighborhood. Newer furnishings and decor. Clean. A few suggestions: Kitchen towels and dish cloths needed. Hand soaps would be great. A proper amount of bath towels and wash clothes. Window coverings for downstairs bathroom and bedrooms above the beds. It was kind of strange to have a car in the driveway and a bike in the front yard. You may consider portioning off your office space downstairs. I would recommend this place to others and would stay there again.

Nicest place we stayed

This house worked out really well. The owner was great about responding to questions. The house was less than 10 minutes away from a decent parking garage and the metro stop. We left a few recommendations for the owner to include in their note to guests, but overall we would 100% recommend this listing to friends visiting DC.

2nd stay, we love the location

Easy in and out and great location for getting around DC/arlington area. Surrounded with trees and nature but right off a highway, best of both worlds.

Lovely spot

A very nice house in a quiet neighborhood. Woods back up to the house adding to the privacy. The back room off of the kitchen is a great spot for morning coffee, as you are at the level of the trees. The neighborhood is walkable, and Lubber Run Park is a short drive away, but worth it, for the trails along the creek. Also convenient is a small strip mall directly across Hwy 50 from the house, with an Outback, a pizza place, a Thai place and a coffee house. Less than a minute's drive. The host was VERY responsive (I had lots of questions), and left plenty of supplies for our use, which was greatly appreciated. Do keep in mind, though, that it is a 2 story house, in case stairs are an issue for you. All in all a lovely house in a great neighborhood. We would stay here again!
